Classes On Aeroplanes Reflect Stages Of Life Not Society

I used to think that the different sections on planes reflected the different social groups (or "classes") but now I realise they actually reflect the stages of life.

In 'First' you are a baby where everything is done for you without asking. You are put in the back of a car at your hotel and all the things you need for your trip are loaded into the car then the plane for you. You have a special section away from other adults in the airport and on the flight someone is always watching over you in case you are slightly uncomfortable, heaven forbid!

In 'Business' you are an older children yet you still expect to be able to demand something and it'll arrive. You are fending for yourself more than in First but you feel abandoned if the substitute mother doesn't answer your beckons right way (you just press the button again but harder, like shouting Mum even louder).

And by the time we get back to 'Economy' you are old and frail, unable to move as you complain about everything and everyone whilst your legs wrapped up under a patterned blanket.

Is This The Greatest Children's Playground Ever?

Not sure what the motivation here is on Lamma Island... They have done some work on their children's playground and right now it has extra ladders, metal bars, bundles of wires and ropes, plus the obligatory warning / danger signs. Why not just open the venue to the kids now? It's what every (male) child would put into the fantasy playground...! Safety rules gone mad...

Too Much Froyo = Ice Cream Headache

Although as Ben pointed out, apparently you can cure an Ice Cream Headache with a warm Gingerbread latte! Maybe I should just stuff myself full of Key Lime Pie flavoured Jelly Beans...

HD TV On A Bus? Better Pictures Than Looking Out The Window

Yep, free WiFi on a bus is a great step forward but there had to be a next level. And it seems that is HD TV Channel on-board. What could be the motivation for this? See the route map as if it were outside your window? Or be sold to by adverts inside in great quality rather than those lofi versions up on billboards or in lame neon tubes...

Drinking Coffee Makes Coffee Mugs Depressed

Aww, poor thing! My coffee mug this morning seems depressed that I'm drinking coffee out of him... Or am I just misinterpreting (t)his enigmatic smil(i)e and is this in fact Art..? Answers on a melancholic postcard to the usual address...

Haagen Dazs Fork Android Development

Everyone is really buzzing about Ice Cream Sandwich, aka Android 4.0, but I must admit that it's a bit of a surprise to see Haagen Dazs trying to capitalise by releasing their own "fork", Ice Cream Crispy Sandwich. Whatever next, will their be different "flavours" of Jelly Bean..?
